A TD bank in Huntington Station, N.Y., was robbed last Wednesday at 10 a.m.
A white man in his mid 40s with a mustache and a medium build, threatened the bank teller with an act of violence and a demand for cash. The teller gave the robber cash from the drawer, and the robber immediately fled.

I chose this story because it happened literally a fourth of a mile from where I'm living right now! My friend banks there and saw police tape all over on Wednesday, the bank was closed all day.

How crazy that it happened right near you. Nice summary.
ReplyDeleteLuckily you don't bank there. How crazy! I like the local news the best :) Good job on the summary.
ReplyDeleteThat's so scary that it happended so close to you! I liked how you kept your story short and simple. Did they ever catch the robber?
ReplyDeleteDid the police catch the bank robber yet? What is a TD bank? What act of violence did he threaten the bank teller with? This is an interesting summary. It makes me want to read the whole story. Great job!
ReplyDeletehonestly, that was basically the news story, I had looked it up because Krystal told me that she couldn't even turn down our street because of all the police cars, she had to drive the back way.
ReplyDeleteThe police haven't released any other information as of yet. We don't know if he was caught, what he threatened or anything. Basically what's in my summary is all that's known so far!
