Federal subsidies will no longer be used in insurance which covers an abortion. This was added to the health care bill by the House on Saturday. If a woman is seeking an abortion, it now must be paid out of pocket, or may be added as a rider on an insurance policy. This is being considered pro-life supporters greatest victory in six years since the ban on partial birth abortions.

You have lots of facts and details that really explain your summary well. I am not familiar with the word "subsidies," but I am guessing it means funds. This is a controversial issue, but I think you put it in a very effective neutral perspective.
ReplyDeleteI am pro-choice, but think that people should pay for there own mistakes. Also so many people are against it, that I am suprised that any local or fed gov would kick out money for it.
